Adventure Enthusiast.

Dom is a user experience designer from sunny Southern California. Though she is a 2nd generation native Angeleno, she has lived in Portland, Boston, and Palm Beach. She is conducting a live-in anthropological study of Orange County culture. She has yet to acquire a neck tattoo or a large white truck, but she has located the best sushi restaurant, and the locals seem to have accepted her as one of their own.

She is currently working at CAKE as a UX Director. She is a champion for clients and users, and fights for design standards and usability patterns in the Platform. She found her way to user experience through studying at The Art Institute of Portland, and Wellesley College. (Web Design & Interactive Media and Media Arts & Science respectively).

She is enthusiastic about human-computer interactions, easy-to-use applications, adventures and new experiences, and alchemical kitchen experiments.

When she's not contemplating how to make things better, she's usually found crafting, tormenting an orange kitty, or making mischief. You can email her at domaniquealicia@gmail.com.
